Trying to understand how Barack Obama can so quickly dispose of his white grandmother, his annoying liberation-theologian pastor, his church and now — in a mere 48 hours — his unambiguous declaration that Jerusalem will remain the undivided capital of Israel? Taqiyya – no, not Tequila, silly! — may be the explanation.
We should have no qualms questioning Obama’s and his assorted mentor-pastors’ claims to Christianity. It is an approved, standard practice for Muslims who are on what they consider to be enemy territory to conceal their status. They have the sanction of the Koran to pretend not to be Muslim, to shave their beards, and avoid the mosques. All with the express intent of staying below the radar, the better to mislead their enemies.
The two fundamental, universally agreed tenets of Christianity are love of God and love of one’s fellow men. Yet what Obama’s long-term, self-proclaimed ministers of the word of God preach is unapologetic, vitriolic hate. Naturally this is jarring to those who consider themselves Christians.
But such preaching of hatred is a staple in Islamic society, where children are taught at tender ages to refer to Jews as dogs and apes. I have read the Koran. It is a not a kissing cousin to the New Testament. Islam is not a religion of love. Various portions of the Koran (Qu’ran, take your pick) trump other portions. Those written later in Mohammed’s lifetime, when his power was clearly growing, are, to put it mildly, not warm and fuzzy. These later segments take precedence over the milder passages written earlier.
So what are Obama and friends, really? No one can say definitively, but putting various pieces of the puzzle together leads in one direction.

Putting Obama in the context of his Louis Farrakhan-Nation of Islam-loving pastors, Obama’s campaigning in Kenya for his cousin, extremist-Muslim ally Raila Odinga (pic right), and the various Muslims (to say nothing of Marxists) who have endorsed him, only a very determined Ostrich can keep her head in the ground.
Combine such seeming inconsistencies with the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya, as explained in a 2005 article published by Council for the National Interest, and the Obama/Wright/Farrakhan puzzle begins coming together:
Two texts in the Koran specifically refer to taqiyya. The Prophet Mohammed, the founder of Islam reportedly said:
“[H]e who keeps secrets shall soon attain his objectives … All War is a ruse” and “Let not the believers take for friends or helpers unbelievers rather than believers; if any do that, they shall have no relation left with Allah except by way of precaution … [taqiyya] that ye may guard yourselves”. [Koran 3:28 and 40.28, emphasis added]
Early Islamic texts refer to the covert nature of taqiyya:
Al Taqiyya is with the tongue only; not the heart. A believer can make any statement as long as the ‘heart is comfortable …”; “God gave the believers freedom of movement by takiyya; therefore conceal thyself …”; “Takiyya is a cloak for the believer: he who has no religion has no takiyya, associate your opponents only outwardly and oppose them inwardly”.
Related terms include: protection of the secret (hifz-al sirr), secrecy (katm or kitman), deception (making something ambiguous) and hiding the real state of one’s convictions (talbis). Early Muslim sects, the Najadt and the Kharjites, referred to particular regions outside their communities as “the abode of dissimulation” (dar al taqiyya).
A contemporary definition of taqiyya is religiously-sanctioned deception for the purposes of concealing terrorism. German terrorism expert and Middle East scholar, Basam Tibi, defined taqiyya as: “You are twofaced. You hate me, but you smile at me.”
Of course, on one level, taqiyya is a part of a political life. Do you suppose Obama is exercising taqiyya when he smiles at Hillary? Vice versa?
But beyond Hillary, Obama has a much more serious target for taqiyya: the United States of America that Michelle Obama finds it so hard to be proud of, that Reverend Wright holds responsible for 9/11, and the white Americans Wright despises whose “chickens are coming home to roost.”
Obama would like to dismiss his long-term and otherwise inexplicable association with this barn-burner pastor and his successor-clone as a mere “distraction” from the serious issues of a presidential campaign. However, nothing could be more serious than the question of Obama’s fundamental loyalty to the nation he seeks to represent.

Nothing Obama says is worth a pinch of you know what. Promising anything to anyone, and the opposite the next day to another, opposing group, he is the perfect demogogue. Taqiyya explains him exactly.
And I am fed up with left wing politicos claiming, as St. Barack does in this video, that Iraqis are not doing “enough” to secure their own freedom. They are fighting heroically and effectively.
