CNSNews.com’s recording of Harry Reid parroting Sen. Tad Cochran on John McCain is a bit of political misdirection. I take it as Harry’s Reid’s attempt at helping along McCain’s campaign. If Reid is scared of McCain, then the GOP should love him, right? But who really believes anything Harry Reid says?
GOP voters would do well to focus on Cochran’s view, not Reid’s. Here’s Cochran’s statement, courtesy of The Hill:
“The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine,” Cochran had told The Boston Globe after his endorsement of McCain’s main rival, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. “He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me.”
America’s mothers note well. On January 28, Pat Buchanan said we should expect to attack Iran right after the inauguration in the event that McCain is elected president.
