Sonia Sotomayor: Another (bad) Bush retread

by Kurt Schulzke on May 26, 2009

The short video below, in which Sonia Sotomayor effectively touts courts as legislators, suggests that one smart ass has just nominated another to the Supreme Court. Sotomayor is a clown. Her nomination is yet another indication of Mr. Obama’s (and George HW Bush’s) lack of seriousness. The boy president strikes again using a weapon crafted by a Bush.

Anyone who believes and says that a Latina will make better decisions than a white man needs to be ridden out of Washington on a rail. Reverse that and pretend a white man said that about a Latina! He would be driven not just out of Washington, but off a cliff.

She is a racist. That is confirmed by her decision re the white firemen who passed the test for promotion — but since no black firemen passed that test, they cannot have their promotions. No amount of convoluted logic can explain that — apart from racism.

Her decisions have been overturned 60% of the time. Who or what will overturn her biased (in Obama speak: “empathetic” — to anyone not white) , mindless decisions if she sits on the highest court in the nation?

I am still amazed that anyone claims to have been surprised by the extremes to which Obama is going.
Anyone who REALLY wanted to know what BO stood for could have. The history was all there. Just look at who he associated with, from high school on — one after another — you could choose from the America-haters, Chicago thugs, South American communist despots, or Islamic-over-alls.
Some are claiming they believed his words. Never believe a candidate unless the track record matches the words. Clue: you watch a candidate’s hips, not his lips.

The statement in this video clip, coupled with Sotomayor’s recently publicized racist comments should be sufficient evidence to any Senator to block her confirmation with all available resources.

This is the last thing we need in a lifetime appointed SCJ. Despite any suggestions to the contrary, she will almost certainly legislate from the bench.
