Obama, Odinga & Kenyan Jihad
Last night, I reported on Barack Obama’s active support of Kenyan jihadi candidate and Obama cousin Raila Odinga. What escaped mention was Odinga’s explicit plan to turn Kenya into an Al Qaeda terrorist incubator. A close analysis of Odinga’s MoU with Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi shows that — if Odinga had been elected as Kenyan president in the fall of 2007 — he would have made it impossible under Kenyan law for “any Muslim arrested for or suspected of Terrorism” to be tried anywhere but Kenya under Kenyan law.
Kenyan law, in turn, would henceforth be exclusively Shariah law in “Muslim declared regions” — the “coast” and “North Eastern regions” of the country – see the map, below — now visited by hundreds of thousands of western tourists each year. However, the evidence suggests the opposite is true.
It is no coincidence that this area of Kenya borders Somalia – for many years an Al Qaeda stronghold — site of the Clinton administration’s version of the Bay of Pigs, in Mogadishu, the event that serves as the basis for the movie Black Hawk Down. Also noteworthy is Kenya’s proximity to Tanzania, focus of much of George Bush’s efforts to save Africa and, arguably, where Bush is today most loved in the world.
In these “Muslim declared” regions, the Odinga-Abdi agreement would outlaw – among other things – Farmer’s Choice, pork, other “haram products” and “women’s public dressing styles considered immoral or offensive to the Muslim faith” for all women, not just Muslims. At the same time, Odinga would establish a Sharia law court in every Kenyan “divisional headquarters.” One foreseeable result of these machinations is that Al Qaeda would be safe-havened in Kenya, free to foment mahem and terror around the world. Little wonder that Louis Farrakhan has endorsed Obama for president.
The question every Democrat should be asking is how any American president – as Barack Obama seeks to become – could support a scheme so obviously designed to further the global jihad? Restated: With Americans like Obama, who needs Al Qaeda?
Conservative Republicans face a related question: In light of this information, could you in good conscience not vote for John McCain in November if the Dems stupidly choose Obama as their “daddy”?

The above brings us back to the question of what Obama’s mentor and pastor of 21 years was doing in North Africa with Louis Farrakhan in 2007. What was the business attended to in their visit to Moammar Qaddafi? How does that relate to Farrakhan’s endorsement of Obama? To Ortega’s endorsement of Obama? And to the Odinga campaign in Kenya, the election being held in Dec. 2007? We may not get the answers, but we had better ask the questions.
We’d better shout this from the rooftops, this is huge news. We knew the Dems would support ANYONE (as we saw from Kerry) as long as they are the antipathy of Bush but this? WOW…wow…hmmmm

If any or all of this is true, why hasn’t the US govt. been able to look into this? Also Bush with the Patriot Act(s) at his disposal, would probably have had him investigated and duly processed. What could he be waiting for?
For starters: The Odinga thing is impossible to refute. It is a matter of pride for Obama; there is the photo of him with mike in hand, his cousin sitting there at his feet. He has continued to monitor the situation, phoning to talk to him, etc. The pattern is also there in regard to the Islamization of country after country in Africa as well as Lebanon, etc., so it is not different here except that it involves a candidate for President of the United States. The pattern of eliminating Christians in these countries is continuing in Iraq as well.
As far as Bush is concerned, it is probably not a question of whether he is able. It may be just a political tinderbox he isn’t interested in striking a match to. The links between Obama and various terrorists are well documented by responsible news outlets.
In terms of Rezko, who is a direct link from Obama to Auchi, a corruption trial is either now underway or shortly to begin — which will likely expose further information.
Okay, so the pattern is there. That’s not good (understatement). And Obama went to Kenya in 2006 as a sitting US Senator to campaign for his cousin, Odinga who wants to instate Sharia Muslim law with all the burkas and (fmg) female genital mutilations (barf). But what I don’t buy is that “Bush just doesn’t want to strike a match to a political tinderbox.” What you’re describing here is just basic direct involvement by Obama with countries that are anti US (not to mention anti-semitic and anti-Christian). But mainly anti US as you describe that he is involved in a “scheme so obviously designed to further the global jihad”. You’re saying he’s involved with terrorists. So I reiterate: What’s to stop Bush from using the Patriot Act(s) in order to investigate Obama and possibly apprehend him for trial on treason?
Maybe you should ask Bush. I don’t set foreign policy.
The point is if Obama was involved in terrorist activities as you allege, he would not be allowed to roam free about the country unless somebody is covering up for him. It has nothing to do with foreign policy. It has to do with the Patriot Act(s)!
I have concerns with Obama being involved in the Kenyan Presidential election. I’d like to know why he campaigned for his cousin Raila Odinga–giving speeches in front of tens of thousands, to the point that Kenyan media called Obama Odinga’s stooge. I’d like to know why Obama was so serious about getting his cousin elected, especially after all of the chaos, scandal, back-stabbing, and murders which ensued thereafter. Put it this way: If Raila Odinga is a bad guy, then why did Obama support someone like that? Obama was in Kenya in August of 2007.

Obama’s older brother still lives there; Abongo “Roy” Obama is a Luo activist and militant Muslim who argues that the black man must liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture. Raila Odinga is a Marxist, and he wants to make a majority Christian Kenya embrace Islamic customs: he wants Sharia law, and he made a pact with an Islamic hard-line group NAMLEF and others to enforce this law as they see fit for when he is in office. Odinga wants to establish Sharia courts throughout the country; vows to ban booze, pork, and impose Muslim dress codes on women–moves highly favored by Barack Obama’s older brother, Abongo “Roy” Obama.
–Odinga claimed the election was rigged when he lost, then there were riots and a sort of civil war, but it was the Christians who were getting killed by the Muslims. Christians were burned alive in churches and they were macheted in the streets. It is reported that hundreds of Christians were killed by Muslims when all was said and done. Odinga blamed his opponent for the civil war over the MuO and the election rigging conspiracy, but in reality it was only his opponent’s people who were killed. Right now, Odinga is claiming the presidency and fighting to be sole president, and in a diplomatic effort, the powers that be allowed him to be co-president until the election is figured out.
–Odinga also had an interesting political strategist help with his campaign, an American, who used to be a campaign employee of Bill Clinton’s among other Americans. It is the first time that an American poitical strategist has worked on any Kenyan campaign. Possibly any *African* political campaign. Recommended by Barack Obama?

Furthermore, Raila Odinga has close ties to an oil big shot: Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi (oil $) chairs NAMLEF, (National Muslim Leaders Forum) which Odinga signed a then secret pact with. This man has connections to Libyan socialist leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, who is said to have financially backed and supported Raila Odinga’s campaign.
One must keep in mind, any sort of treaty with NAMLEF is NOT like Americans shaking hands with non-radical Muslims. It is very complicated in Kenya. In many countries in Africa, there are full blown religious wars between Muslims and Christians. *Find NAMLEF document online, as well as many articles with interesting opinions.

Germany, and his father Oginga Odinga led the communist opposition during the Cold War, which is interesting since every semi-controversial person connected to Obama is somehow involved in marxism, socialism, and communism. Why hasn’t this been in the media? This is Obama’s family and Obama politicking in Kenya. Obama has dual citizenship in Kenya, lots of family there, and also Obama’s church is Pro-Africa, concentrating on building Africa.
So what is going on? Why doesn’t everybody know this information as basic open information about our next potential President of the United States of America. It’s a very big deal in Africa and Europe, just not here, and yet he’s OUR politician.

This information above (Katherine’s comments) are dynamite. So Obama has dual citizenship? To which country does our potential president pledge loyalty? What state secrets will be handed over lock stock and barrel to the Islamic radicals? Nothing would be safe.

So the information is out. Obama has a cousin(Google: Obama + Odinga) named Odinga that is in a high political position in Kenya. He wants to impose Sharia law on his subjects and supports worldwide Muslim Jihad. Obama made several calls to him during the New Hampshire primary to check on his campaign in Kenya. No mention of it in the media!
His pastor of 20 years, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, began his ministry as a Black Muslim…no doubt of The Nation of Islam variety. It’s little wonder he gave a lifetime achievement award to Louis Farakkan, the head hancho of the racist, anti-American, anti-Semitic, Marxist-oriented Nation of Islam. They(Obama’s pastor and Louis Farrakkan) made a pilgramage to Libya to pay a visit to the Mohumar Khaddfi(spelling?). He’s the guy Regan bombed during the 80’s and is the virulent, outspoken anti-American Muslim dictator of Libya.
His association with William Ayers of the former Weather Underground is disturbing. His campaign spokesman described their relationship as “friendly”; Obama himself said his association with Ayers was a “right of passage”. Ayers was a key figure in the 70’s anarchist Weather Underground, a revoutionary who took credit for the bombing of the NYC Police Department and the Pentagon. He was aquitted of these crimes in the 80’s(after being a fugitive for several years) and is now a tenured college professor in Chicago. They live in the same Hyde Park neighborhood. As late as 2001 - and when he knew he was out of danger of going to prison - he stated he “didn’t do enough.” What???!!
In his book(which arguably he did not write) “The Audacity of Hope” (which was borrowed from a sermon by his pastor Jeremiah Wright) he speaks of his childhood role model and mentor as “Frank”. This is Frank Davis, a prominent member of the CPUSA(Communist Party of the United States of America).
Do we really need to know any more?
If Obama is elected president, expect more revelations that the main stream media will NOT be able to ignore. Racial tensions will flare. DAILY we’ll hear of what he said that will top what he (or his hateful wife Michelle) said the day before. He’ll fill his cabinet with corrupt Blacks that will be a disaster. They’ll eventually be exposed, one by one and be removed, causing furthur racial tension. Riots may erupt and we’ll be well on our way to Civil War II: The Balkanization of America.

And yes to Gravitas’ question, Obama does have dual citizenship. He has had the opportunity ever since Kenya’s independence in 1963 to renounce it. He has not done so. Where do his loyalties lie? Read his books. He leaves plenty of room for us to wonder.
Just curious— how did Obama get dual citizenship if he was born in Hawaii to an American? How does that work?
Just as Americans born abroad to Americans are automatically US citizens, Obama probably got his Kenyan citizenship based on his father’s being Kenyan. When Kenya became independent in 1963, voila, there it was. My best guess, for whatever it is worth. But it may have behooved him to choose which of the two was more important to him, before he ran for US president. One would think.
So, can someone with dual citizenship run for president?
It is well documented that Odinga has a vision of seeing Africa
united and turned into a Pan African/Islamic Socialist nation (which better explains the agreement he made to impose Islamic law on Kenya). Odinga gave a lecture titled: “The Place Of Africa In The 21st Century”, at the 31st Pan African Student Leadership Conference held at Minnesota State University, February 22-24, 2007. We all already know that Wright and Farrakhan have visited with
Gaddafi and we know that they both share the same vision of a Pan African nation. Wright’s church flies the Pan African flag and
although he claims to be Christian, it could be argued that he shares the vision with Odinga, Gaddafi and Farrakhan for Pan Africa to be an Islamic nation.
We also know that Farrakhan wanted to establish an African nation within the US.
We know that Michelle Obama’s Princeton senior thesis titled,
“Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community” is all about integration and/or assimilation of a black person in a white society. We know that about 90 pages of her thesis are under lock and key until Nov.5 , however, she does quote the work of James Conyers and Walter Wallace, both scholars on pan Africa and the pan African movement within the US. I don’t think it would be a stretch to suggest she shares the same vision.

The Democrats have fallen on thier heads and so have millions of people in this country. I can’t believe that this guy with this kind of history may be sitting at the same list as Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy.
I still don’t understand if all this is true why the national press, the Clinton supporters, and the super delegates aren’t broadcasting this from every roof top in the U.S. I can understand why the Republicans aren’t doing it yet - they are just laying in wait hoping that Obama is nominated and they can really nail the democrats. I can’t think of anything more damaging to the democratic party than to have nominated a terrorist - it would be dismantled and fly the way of the whigs, fereralists, Bull Moose Party, etc.

I agree Robin. McCain has never been president. He has good qualities and so does Obama. I think our country still is torn in the race department, and if Obama is not elected, I wonder if that would drive us deeper apart or of McCain was elected? Will anything really change? Bob — The “national press” are focused primarily on providing entertainment, not news. Many American reporters are graduates of college journalism programs that focus on the process of producing stories rather than on substantive history or journalistic ethics. With only a shallow knowledge of what has happened before, they live in the moment and are incapable of seeing historical patterns and danger signs that better educated people see. Media sources outside the United States have covered these issues. Those are the sources, primarily, that I relied in writing the original post.
I am a Kenyan who has lived in the US for a while . I have no particular political inclinations here in Kenya or in the US. I simply belive in good governance and respect for the rule of law.
I am however astounded by the inaccuracies, outright lies , propaganda in this story about Obama being Odinga’s cousin, about Raila turning Kenya into a sharia state, about Obama campaigning for Odinga.

Honest — Thanks. How about sharing some of those facts. Obama has never denied being Odinga’s cousin, those he has denied relationships with other Kenyan politicians. Obama did, in fact, campaign for Odinga and was photographed doing so. He has never denied it. And Odinga, as far as is known, did enter into an agreement with Kenyan muslims many of whom, like their Somali counterparts, have a jihadi agenda.

This is are all lies. Has anyone taken his/her time to read the 11 point MOU Odinga signed with the Kenyan Muslims.It has nothing to do with Sharia law or Balkanizing Kenya according to faith Nigeria style, but is pegged around creating and entrenching a Muslim Judicial system embeded within the constitution and addresses disputes between Muslims. Furthermore this is a system that has been in Kenya for decades unofficially so why not legitimize it just like the Muslim Banking system which was introduced recently in Kenya and which has taken the banking industry by storm.
The picture I get here is that no one really understands Raila. Being a kenyan I can assure you that Raila is the best leader our country and Africa as a region would have had in a very long time. This I know a majority of Kenyans agree with me. The west probably agree by now too judging by the way Raila as Prime Minister has tackled issues in the continent including the Zimbabwe one. He is only second to the late Tom Mboya who was one of the country’s best political leaders touted as the best president Kenya never had.
I come strongly in Raila’s defense because I believe he is the region’s best option right now. I am not his fan neither a muslim. The guy has what it takes to propel this young nation into a bright future.
Secondly, Raila is not Obama’s cousin. I know he claimed (or appeared to have claimed) so. For one to understand in what sence Raila was refering Obama as a “first cousin” you have to make a safari down to Kenya then proceed to Nyanza province - home of both Raila and Obama senior. Here anyone who comes from your ethnic group happens to be related to you. Its the only community in Kenya where introductions do not stop at your first name. You have to know your roots all the way to 10 previous generations - just in case. And at a point you get to realize your ancestors actually shared one migration route and there you are a relation.

As to cousins and such, whatever the custom is in Nyanza province, the custom here is that when you are running for president and someone says something negative about you, you deny it as quickly and clearly as possible. If you don’t deny it, then voters are entitled to assume that it is true.
Even if you are right that Raila is the region’s “best option,” that doesn’t make anything written in these posts a “lie”.

However, I do wish to note that Odinga at one point was very specific about the blood relationship with Obama — I think technically they are second cousins — so this is no vague tribal thing. For all I know, Odinga may indeed be a good thing for Kenya. My question is: WHAT ON EARTH WAS A U.S. SENATOR DOING BY ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN A FOREIGN POLITICAL CAMPAIGN, AND A CONTROVERSIAL ONE AT THAT? This would appear to be a highly inappropriate use of his authority, betraying a fatal lack of judgment. At some point, Condi Rice became involved — did the State Department know of Obama’s activities beforehand? And did they approve them? On whose authority was Obama acting? If this was his idea, and his idea alone, of how to spend his summer vacation, I have big questions.
Here are a few of my questions:
Is any U.S. congress member allowed to go abroad and campaign in a foreign election for the candidate of his/her choice? For example, can a senator go to Nepal and campaign for the Maoist candidate, without reference to existing U.S. policy?
If this whole thing had backfired, would the U.S. be blamed for involving itself in foreign adventures? Is it reasonable for a country to assume that if a U.S. senator is actively campaigning for a candidate, that candidate has U.S. backing?

I would be delighted — truly — to post here facts that refute the conclusions expressed here regarding Obama’s jihadi and marxist ties and, as Marty points out, Obama’s complete lack of judgment and propriety in using his U.S. Senate credentials to campaign for a foreign country’s presidential candidate.
Unfortunately, Obama supporters who visit this site do nothing but yell “lies” and then run back into whatever corner they hide out in. I have yet to see one single assertion that I have made about Obama be factually discredited. Not even Obama himself has managed it on his Fact Check website.
I’ll keep on waiting. Looking forward to a day that will probably never come.
To Marty: Thank you for acknowledging the fact that Obama and Odinga are cousins. They are indeed: not second cousins, however, they are first cousins. Obama’s father is Odinga’s maternal uncle, in other words, his mother’s brother. Odinga has specified that; Obama has not attempted to refute it.
And one of Odinga’s closest aides, Roy Obama, is even closer than that, Obama’s half-brother.
If blood is thicker than water, as the old adage claims, we have cause to be concerned. As so it appears to be in Obama’s case. We can hardly refute Obama’s showing up to campaign for his cousin; the evidence is there. Obama has plenty of reason to distance himself, but he does not deny it.
