Natalie Malonis asks Judge to seal CASA report
Natalie Malonis has filed a motion to seal the report filed last Friday by Teresa Jeffs’ CASA . . . Malonis says, in motion, that it’s in Teresa’s best interests — now that it has already been fully disclosed in the major press — to cover it up. Jockeying for position with grand jury tomorrow? What’s Malonis up to? Why leave the report wide open to be picked over on the weekend only to seal it now?

This is rather like asking someone to close the barn door after the horse has run out into the fields.
Not sure if you knew or not, but Angie Voss is on the board of the San Angelo CASA, and it was a San Angela CASA caseworker who did the filing on Friday.
Maybe its more like asking someone to close the barn door while the horse is INside, but the barn is on fire…

She wants to seal the report after it was leaked to the media? For once I dont know what to say.
This case gets stranger but the moment. How can they attack the FLDS on all sides? And this young lady is torn apart by her own attorney and casa? With all the help judge barbie gave her I can see the prison doors opening. Are we still in the United States?
Melonis is serving the interests of Malonis, and not those of Teresa Jeffs.

Something just occured to me. All the negative information has been leaked to the media. There may be information in the report that contradicts Natalie Malonis and this is what she wants hidden.

I see quite well the bell was rung, and that is what my comment was about.
I have no doubt Texas will pay for the cure, as they were the cause.
As for Malonis’ move to seal the “report”, I’m sure she’ll be the joke around the courthouse water cooler for the next few days (and again when the bar is done with her = why she stumbled through with that CYA move).

I wish it were true! Not all that saw the “report” after it was leaked out are Malonis or CPS fans.

As Headmistress noted, that reads more like Ray had not yet been with her in an intimate manner.
Absent that red hot ticket of SEXUAL ASSAULT of a CHILD (for 31 teenaged victims), and especially if it’s accurate that Teresa the “virgin” lived with her mother, the State of Texas is stuck with trying to make a purse out of a pig’s ear.
The Grand Jury meets this week, so it’s possible we’ll may see if Texas has any BIG cases.

I really do appreciate you having pointed out the hearing that was not to happen. Evidently it was actually NEVER scheduled.
I must admit that I should have known better than to assume Malonis was truthful in any way when she leaked that information to Brooke on the 15th.
How we went from my comments on the Malonis “cover” up move (LOL!) to you having pointed out there would not be a hearing is another mystery you could solve for me.
While the media jumped on the Malonis crew leaks, the outcome has not produced any orders effecting anything.
The “outcome” is that the information made public could prejudice the minds of jurors, a double edged sword.
It is possible that the leaks may influence the GJ to indict alleged suspects and maybe even jurors they could face in a future criminal case.
It also creates a record that leaves good ole Natalie and the AG crew open to a problem. The Conduct that has made ALL this information available to parties that leaked it into the public minds is subject to Rules set to regulate such activities.
The ‘blame game’ will be fun to follow, after the state bar and federal courts get involved.
