John McCain shines on Late Night with Conan O’Brien
For voters sitting on the fence, John McCain’s appearance last Friday on Conan O’Brien is a worth a look. Click here (or the pic below) to access the video, wait through the ad for whatever, then move the timer-slide thingy (yeah, I’m hi-tech!) to the 15:00 point and enjoy. McCain comes across as funny, down-to-earth and worthy of the nation’s trust.
Never thought I’d say this, by the way, having expressed as recently as last fall the inclination to vote for . . . gasp . . . Barack Obama.

Just in terms of vanity and self-interest, in a John McCain vs. Barack Obama contest, McCain is a better choice. He HAS served America.
Obama would have America serve him. Obama’s redesigning the presidential seal with his own logo, complete with a Latin version of his campaign slogan, before he is even elected, is hard to digest.
Likewise, his petulant explanation for why he finally broke with Reverend Wright: “I don’t think he showed much concern for me.” Not that “he did not show enough concern for racial harmony or the future of the nation.” One might get the impression that in Obama’s eyes, he is All.
I was also disgusted by Obama claiming to have “extended health care for the troops,” relating that claim to the 2008 military funding authorization. In fact, in a 91-3 vote, Obama was missing in action — one of six senators who did not cast a vote.
McCain having had somewhat more than Obama’s 135 days of Senate experience (before beginning his presidential campaign) also makes the senator from Arizona look like a better bet.
Obama redesigning the seal? What a joke. Is gravitas a pseudonym for Bill O’Reilly/Sean Hannity/Rush Limbaugh? Did Obama/Osama (a frequent “mistake” by Fox) go to a madrasa too? Does he speak Arabic to his wife & kids and go to the Mosque five times a day? Give me a break.

Joke’s on you, dude.
You’ve misread Gravitas’ note and added a bunch of your own imaginary rantings. Stick with the facts and you’ll win some cred.
