McCain and Palin were brilliant in their interview broadcast last night on Hannity & Colmes. They were energetic, focused, friendly, knowledgeable and “loquacious”, to snitch a word from CBS reporter Dean Reynolds. The interview (four-part video –> here) was a breath of fresh air and well worth the time, more than offsetting my dissatisfaction with Tuesday’s goofy “debate”. In a word, brilliant. I remain convinced that John McCain and Sarah Palin would do us proud in the White House.

Actually, I think I am trying to enlighten. McCain’s freudian slip was one of those which illuminate an underlying, suppressed truth, as freudian slips are prone to do. In this case, McCain nailed it: We are all domestic prisoners of a global empire in its last throes. Sen. McCain knows this truth, but has suppressed it as long as he has been able to do so. Now, out the truth popped, in that wonderful slip of the tongue.
Here is a link to an interview with a man who was recruited by NSA to be a cog in the Empire’s machinery, who worked at it for years, and who has decided to let the rest of us know what is going on.

Well, if Freudian slips are on the agenda of this thread, the one that beats all is Obama’s Freudian slip in his George Stephanopoulos interview. “My Muslim faith…” GS has to remind him, “Your Christian faith.”
Then look at Obama’s face as he realizes what he let slip.
