Many thanks to the “gay marriage” proponents who have so artfully given the pro-marriage megaphone to Miss California Carrie Prejean. While she’s not the most articulate spokesperson for traditional marriage, she has her heart in the right place.
Prejean has done a remarkable job of capitalizing on the media firestorm created largely by the virulent gay lobby who are happy to jettison free speech in pursuit of a faux, government-imposed legitimacy for their nihilistic “lifestyle”. Congrats to Carrie and Donald Trump for making the most of the opportunity. This has been a real treat. Video below.

While one can readily question the purity of Donald Trump’s motives, at least he got it right this time.
And while I detest the beauty contest culture and its vulgarity, Miss Prejean has struck a worthy blow on behalf of families.
Prejean has not only struck a worthy blow on behalf of families, but for freedom of speech and thought.
I am so sick of PC mentality and proud of her for expressing her view on marriage. I do hope she now has lawsuits against the slander and name calling she has suffered.
Amen to that, MV.
I will say what I will say, politically or culturally, and the heck with any who are petty or egotistical enough to be offended. Kudos to Miss California for doing it in the face of such pressure.
As one who was very active in the Proposition 8 Campaign last fall — and whose name appeared on donor lists — I know just a little about the pressure being brought against our freedom of speech and against traditional marriage.
I have not suffered the persecution that some have in our fair state, losing their employment and business patronage. But I have been called a bigot by an anonymous caller, simply because my name appeared on that donor list.
If people like Carrie Prejean did not put themselves on the line for the rest of us, the cowards who make such calls would rule the day completely. God bless her.
