In the case of Texas, their coach did not help them there with all his whining.

Last night OU was so close so many times to putting that game right where they wanted it, BUT Florida stood up to them throughout the game and they won it.

I anticipate the poll will be full of votes for Utah also. Another year with a finish that is not conclusive.

I hate it when the other team beats one I pick, but usually I think the problem was my pick allowed them to win. Like I said about Alabama, I’d imagine Texas was not 100%. They’d disappointed themselves, lost a shot at their goal before reaching this bowl game.

Comeback, maybe. not being dominant, not really. Deserving of the win?? NO! That picture perfect ending (in sarcastic quotes) was hardly worth the win that Texas took.

Oregon surprised me against OSU, which had been improving all year.

Texas, which I like, ate a bit of crow after making such a fuss about OU being ranked higher.

Unless OU beats Florida, we’ll hear about Utah getting shafted out of the big game for years to come. Utah did a bit better against Alabama than Florida did, overlooking the idea that Alabama may have lost a bit of their spirit by getting knocked out of the championship game.
