Barack Obama’s Leftist Racism: “No peace until whites hate their whiteness”

by Horatius on September 24, 2008

Since early this year, this blog has documented Barack Obama’s political extremism, including his ties to radical Islamists, Marxists and black nationalists here and in Kenya.

In this context, Joshua Muravchik’s thoughtful piece in Commentary takes an in-depth look at just how far left (and racist) Barack Obama is. It’s nice to see others finally getting the picture.  We hope it’s not too late to save the country from a tragic mistake.

Countries in economic crisis (real or imagined) have a tendency to run toward the worst elements of society in search of radical solutions.  Depression-era Germany comes to mind. Look past the lips.  Watch the hips.  Excerpts:

The first time Obama attended services at Trinity, [Rev. Jeremiah] Wright delivered a sermon (it was titled “the audacity of hope”) whose theme was: “white folks’ greed runs a world in need.” . . .

What was that theology [that Wright borrowed from David Cone and preached at Trinity]? Here are two tiny snippets of Cone’s thought: “Christianity and whiteness are opposites,” and “there will be no peace in America until whites begin to hate their whiteness. In addition to a cross superimposed on a map of Africa, the website declares: “We are an African people, and remain ‘true to our native land,’ the mother continent, the cradle of civilization.”

This is the kind of thought and these are the kind of people with whom Barack Obama has deliberately associated himself.  That he has done so raises legitimate questions about his loyalty to America and his judgment.

BO’s loyalty to America, or lack thereof, is symbolized by his refusal to salute the flag. Interestingly, at the “Peace” school in which his buddy Wm. Ayers played a pivotal role, the students pledge allegiance to the world, not to the United States of America. Is there a connection? … Or need we ask?
As to the sermon by Rev. Wright, that “We are an African people, and remain ‘true to our native land,” that fits that picture disturbingly well.
It also fits with Moammar Qaddafi’s recent description of Obama as “African and Islam.”
The sale of Obama to the American voter is on an “as is” basis, folks. Best find out what the meaning of “is” is.

Whether or not it helps his campaign, McCain has done the right thing to go back to Washington to be on hand in the midst of the financial crisis. It may cost him the election, but that is what McCain is about — following his conscience.

“Amanda” I have to ask…Are you from Oregon? If you’re not who I think you might be, my question will sound strange to you, but none the less…I have to ask. Your comment sounds an awful lot like something I’d hear from the person I think you could be. If I’m wrong, just ignore my question.
