Anti-Iran rally organizers: Palin would attract too much media

by Horatius on September 18, 2008

Unbelievable. Organizers of a Jewish rally against Iranian dictator Ahmadinejad have now — after Hillary Clinton stayed away to avoid Sarah Palin — disinvited Palin because . . . um, well, they don’t want their rally to attract too much media attention? Huh? Yep, that’s what they’re saying according to this report from Foxnews:

Organizers said they aren’t being partisan. [Like we're supposed to believe that!] They decided to bar all elected and federal officials from the rally on Monday in fear of a “media feeding frenzy.” The rally was specifically intended to protest Ahmadinejad’s presence at the United Nations. . .

Both Clinton and Palin initially had accepted invitations to join the rally, planned by several American Jewish groups. But Clinton’s aides objected after they learned early this week that Palin would also be part of the rally. One aide said they were concerned the event would become “partisan” and “political.”

. . . Malcolm Hoenlein, CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, told FOX News the decision to disinvite Palin had nothing to do with Clinton, but rather the unwanted media attention. . .

Just too much cognitive dissonance in this story. Hillary Clinton concerned about getting to partisan and political? Right. And I have a goldfish that hates water. And rally organizers who want to avoid drawing media attention to their rally.   Where’s a Mad Hatter when you really need one?  Only in New York.

C’mon, Kurt, Hillary pulled out for her health. She would strangle on her own spit if she were required to watch up close the reaction Palin gets from the public. And can you imagine her there on the stand in her Mao pantsuit standing next to Palin — in her dress and enviable legs?
Whatever Hillary’s eye color was, it has turned to green. But she may yet get her chance. Word is that in the very near future, Joe Biden is going to announce he has a health problem, and Hillary will — reluctantly, of course — take his place on the ballot. And whether Joe has a real health problem or not, he soon would — if he did not step aside.

I hope you all read the story in Hotair.com today about the Jewish group threatened with loss of tax exemption if they didn’t dis invite Sarah. Threatened by the “brown shirt” dems.
I hope they can name the ones who called and threatened them and I hope fox etc., will pick up this story and run with it.
This is what’s coming folks from the dems when they get in power.
It seems like they believe they are already in and it doesn’t matter if they reveal who they really are because it’s a done deal.

Like the people in Cuba who voted for “change” in the late fifties and bought Fidel Castro — Americans are blind. Not blind-sided — there is plenty of information out there to warn them off, but younger voters have no historical perspective.
What they do not understand is there is usually a no return policy in effect, once one of these demogogues takes office. And there is no haven ninety miles off our shores to which we can paddle our inner tubes.
